The Best of 2010 Blogfest

Angelina is hosting a Best of 2010 Blogfest. I'm getting my entry in just under the wire...click on her name to go to her blog or on the Blogfest to see the other entries (after you're done with MY best anyway!).

So, here is my BEST of 2010:

I participated in a mini-NaNo in March and finished...in May!

But I finished.

Then I dove into rewrites. Here's my first round of notes. Aren't they pretty?

The year wasn't just full of writing, though.

There were playdates.

And lots of naps (we have to recharge, you know).

Cupcakes.

Hikes.

More Cupcakes.

Maybe too many cupcakes, which means lots of dieting and exercise in 2011...but I digress.

There was Jen's fun video contests and the week I had the winner!
">

And sweet Christmas kitties.

And sweet Christmas presents.

Our non-profit took off. We educated over 20,000 people this year! Not writing related, but we're very proud of that - only two of us teaching and our second year. Pretty impressive considering we took a few months off!

2010 was a GREAT year! I'm looking forward to 2011.

How about you - what was the BEST of 2010 for you?

  1. What a great year you had. Congratulations!

I love the pictures! As for the notes, mine look suspiciously similar. At least it makes for a colourful desk though. :)

Hope you and the animals have a wonderful 2011!

  9. What great things you achieved! And what great cupcakes! Seriously, some fine-looking cupcakes. And what is a year without cupcakes?

Thanks for sharing in the blog hop -- maybe next year I'll get into the NaNoWritMo spirit . . . even if I'm more of a late May finisher too.

  11. Happy new year, Jennie! You, my friend, had a fabulous year (and how much do I love your colored post-its all over that manuscript?).

I had a pretty good year, too. Sold a book, wrote a book. If I could make that happen every year, I'd seriously be living the dream. Here's hopin'.
