FUN Friday

I know that I have shared this before, but I feel it's funny (and we are in need of funny plugging away at our novels this month!) and fitting (for NaNo).

And speaking of NaNo...Word Count: 20,001!

I don't have time for more tonight, but I left off in a great place for productivity tomorrow. I can hardly wait to start back up in the morning!

"Miss Jennifer, did you know I have two dogs?"
"I did not."
"I do. A boy and a girl and they're married."
"That's sweet."
"Mmhmm. And they had babies. But my mom tooked my girl dog to get spaded so she can't have no more babies."
"That's good. Miss Jennifer (yes, I talk about myself in third person sometimes) likes when the dogs get that operation."
"But the husband, he still tries to have babies!"
"He does?"
"Mmhmm. A LOT."

Happy Friday everyone! Any big plans for the weekend?

  1. Hahahaha! Oh kids. They're so wonderfully (and brutally) honest.

This weekend? Nothing too exciting. Still have lots of plot holes to plug up in the WIP and am getting addicted to Mad Men (which I have to return to Blockbuster on Sat), so I'll be watching the remaining episodes of Season 1 tomorrow night.

Woo hoo on your 20,001 words! You're making amazing progress.

  2. Haha, great video. Thanks!

You must have a bagful of gems from the kids. It's funny the stuff they come out with. That one gave me a good chuckle.

Plans for the weekend? I gotta catch up on my NaNo. I'm falling behind. :P

Keep up that pace, you're doing great!

  3. Bahahaha! Kids say the best things some times.
Congrats on your progress with Nano! And that video was funny in a depressing true sort of way lol.

  4. Congrats on all the NaNo progress! That's so awesome! And I love that kid's explanations of the dogs--hilarious :)

  5. I love the things kids say! So funny!

  6. Hilarious! Kids miss nothing.

I am in awe of your NaNo abilities. My word count cowers in defeat :p

  7. Kids are soooo cute.

I love the tales of mere existence. It pretty much sums up my life.

Great job on NaNO. You're killing it girl

  8. Hahaha! SO cute- I bet that kid's a hoot.
